Greta had her first check-in with the pediatric oncologist this morning and she is doing great! The nausea is likely not a direct result of the chemo, and should be manageable. They suggested she graze/snack all day instead of trying to do three meals. Blood work was perfect: white blood cell and platelet counts were good. Her orthopedic surgeon also stopped by to trim her cast where it had been irritating her leg. Next week they will start work on strengthening her good leg and trying to stand on it. Another good sign: Greta requested a blue slushy on the way home. A needed break from appointments until her next chemo round on January 23.

Greta's still very tired and struggling with nausea, but is debuting a very cool new haircut.
