Short update this week: Greta did not have chemo, which gave her the needed time to recover from last week’s harsh cisplatin treatment. Nausea and vomiting continued through Saturday, and Sunday was the first day she didn’t get sick, and managed to eat a little.

On Tuesday, Greta still wasn’t eating well, but managed to get out of the house for clinic and prosthetics appointments; all went well. The nausea was finally gone by Thursday, but Greta still wasn’t interested in eating regularly even with appetite stimulants. Despite having low energy, she was in a good mood and took a trip to Barnes & Noble with Sarah.

Next week she will be back for another clinic visit, and then at her prosthetic appointment she’ll have her first fitting, where she’ll also have her first time trying to walk!
