Greta’s doctor appointment went well. She had the staples taken out and the doctor said it looks perfect. Greta was instructed to spend about 15 minutes touching the stump and looking at it in order to desensitize it a little and train her brain that the leg is gone. She is also working on rotating it around so the muscles will be strong for the prosthetic. She was given the week off to recover, work on this physical therapy and gain more weight before returning to chemo and the hospital next week.

The highlight of the week is that Greta has been strong enough to balance upright with her walker and get the best hugs from the family!
