Greta and family were discharged from the hospital on Saturday, and even made it home in time for Sarah to attend Zoë's orchestra recital (where she kicked butt on the cello)! The rest of the weekend was filled with catching up on sleep and school, a Lego-building marathon, and sisters sharing lunch and a movie. Greta even found a few VR games that don't require standing.

Today it was back to the hospital for Greta's next chemo session. This round includes a drug that is known to cause terrible nausea about a day or so after administration, so they are planning ahead to deal with that. After the chemo drugs are done on Wednesday, she'll get fluids to help her kidneys work hard, and then they expect to be discharged Thursday morning! As has become routine after check-in, Greta had a visit from a dog, ate a good lunch, and then played a heated round of Go Fish with her mom as the chemo started. Sarah noted that Greta seems to have picked up some fierce trash talking from her Grandma Bonnie. There was an emergency ice cream run to end the day, with Greta still in good spirits.
