Just a quick update today as the Erskines leave the hospital: This week's chemo treatment went better than the last one: less pain, but some tough efforts to stand, and struggles with nausea/eating. During their stay, Greta was well enough to have a virtual lesson with her teacher, and more dogs visited!

By Friday Greta was still a bit nauseous, but refused meds because she said she thought she just needed to eat. The DoorDash gift cards were put to good use when she requested Wendy's for breakfast. The Erskines were hoping to be discharged on Friday, but the results of Greta's tests weren't where the doctors wanted them to be, so they were given the tough news that they would have to stay over to Saturday.

With more fluids and eating, Greta was feeling better by Friday evening. Improvements in her lab results this morning meant Greta was cleared for discharge!
